  1. I love the horse in the mist banner! That should be a card!!!
So what are you doing here – making a garden walk?
White coral bells , upon a slender stalk, lilies of the valley deck my garden walk. Oh don’t you wish that you could hear them ring? That will happen only when the fairies sing!

  2. Love the horse banner as well… beautiful. Makes me want to hop in the car and drive out your way and introduce myself! Your pictures are just stunning… do you mind if I ask how you took the banner photo and the one above? I love how you see the sun rays… I try to take photos like that or sunflare and my photos just never turn out right. Any tips, suggestions?

    1. Thank you very much.
I don’t mind you asking…The banner photo was taken yesterday morning with my camera set on Aperture Priority. I had selected an f-stop of 7.1 with an ISO of 400. The camera then selected a shutter speed of 1/30th of a sec. I’m not sure if I was just hand holding it at that point or had it resting on the window of the truck. I’m thinking I was hand holding cause it’s not as clear as it could be. I used an free action from The Coffee Shop Blog called Velvet Truffle, messed with contrast and saturation and cropped it.
The other one? Aperture Priority again. f-stop: 4 ISO: 200 Shutter speed: 1/200 Boosted the saturation with a bit of sharpening.
Tips and suggestions: Keep shooting till the cows come home and don’t be afraid to edit them some, after all you are the film developer now!
