Ranch Color–An Evening In March

Painted sunset – March 4th, 2012 – Stillwater Ranch, Idaho.

Close-up…same night.

Still the same night but switched to my cell phone.  I wanted to see if I could get a decent shot to save as the wallpaper for my phone.

Again…still the same night.  This is the one that I ended up keeping on my phone.

Can’t get enough?  Me neither.  Just one more, cause I mean really?  Have you ever seen pink gravel?!

Okay…last one from that evening in March and I wanna point out to my anti-snow friends…some of these shots wouldn’t have been quite the same without that white stuff!

Happy Weekend You All….Don’t work too hard in them yards and gardens!

  1. D…..

If you are wondering……now we are just cold and gray……lotsa, lotsa! No pretty SUNSETS
for us….not yet anyway….yes, once they return to us they will be stunning!!!!!!!!!!! Still
plenty of snow in the Mts. A slow melt and it is a good thing. We have had a heavy rainfall,
still, again and on and on. The Pack River here by Bonnie and I is HUGE!!!!!!!

If YOU have spring enjoy her…..ours is always late-late-late. The Osprey have returned as
have the swallows. I am anxiously awaiting the little Hummers………brrrrrrrrrr for them however!

Keep me informed of your weather there at the farm.

P.S. We have a seasonal lake here in the back pasture….4 ft deep and sizeable!!!! The
geese and ducks are nesting as they have it all to themselfs. It will be gone by Sept. 1…….
the mules love it……green-green munching…….fat-fat mules!!!!!!

  2. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO beautiful……..what an incredible sky. Haven’t ever seen pink gravel before – pink sand yes in Bermuda but gravel no…..I don’t think I could ever tire of such a view. Seriously.

  3. Dee,
Take your pictures to the local Chamber of Commerce. They would love to use them in their brochures. These need to be published so more people can appreciate them!
