*This post title inspired by the forecast for Northern Michigan.
First, the weather report for our area: a little bit of everything.
That about covers it. No really. It does. For us they’re forecasting freezing rain, almost fifty degree temps, rain, thunder, lightening and a tornado threat is thrown in too. Then our temps are supposed to plunge back down Wednesday night and they say the “Lake Effect Snow Machine will crank back up”. One can only hope. But first, if you are in the path of this buggar, please be safe.
And now, a few pictures from yesterday.
I’m sad to say you won’t see any snowmen or snow angel shots. Unfortunately, I missed my opportunity to go out and play in the snow yesterday morning by mere minutes before it began to rain. I guess messing around doing not very important domestic junk was more pressing than going out and enjoying the snow. You’d think I’d know better than that. Brain cramp I guess.
Since I was in adult mode I figured I’d venture out to the post office. Above is a shot of Lake Huron just across the street from there. I love it when I see Bald Eagles (who doesn’t right?) and I saw one hunting along the shore right after I took this picture.
The train tracks leading into town the other direction were no match for me though! I caught them pretty easy.
And then there’s these two – Jimmy and Duke. They waned to be captured…and taken to the barn for dinner.
“Fly be free”, I said.
They didn’t think I was very funny.
